Behind the Scenes at UFC 115

I was at UFC 115 cornering Claude Patrick for his UFC debut at the sold-out event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

It was an awesome experience that I look forward to again in the future!

Here’s a little vid of the behind the scenes action that will give you an idea of what it’s like for when YOU make it there… :)

Some notes:

  • The event is very tightly organized – you know what’s gonna happen every step of the way and it is all very professional
  • The whole production side of things is absolutely huge, I couldn’t believe everything that goes on behind the scenes, especially considering they come in for an event then get right out as opposed to a hockey or basketball team who plays 40-50 games at home
  • The fighters are all very focused before the fight and everyone is very friendly and I didn’t see any ill-will between two fighters or opposing camps at all

Being in the Corner

I was extremely grateful for Claude giving me the chance to be in his corner for his debut.

He first contacted me to train him after he signed his contract with the UFC.

Being in the corner was an awesome experience and one that I look forward to repeating in the future! :)

I was there since Thursday and helped out with some soft tissue work before the fight and some of the pre-fight warmup stuff.

I was probably more hyped for the fight than Claude, as he’s a super focused guy who was all business before the fight.

During the fight, I let Kru Alin Halmagean do most of the talking as he’s got a vast amount of experience and knowledge to share during the fight.

After Claude’s fight, I was super pumped to be able to be in the middle of the octagon, standing there behind Claude as Joe Rogan was interviewing him.

Being in Canada, the hometown crowd showed a lot of love for Claude and it felt awesome in there.

Back in the dressing room, I asked Claude 1 question for you guys:

“What’s 1 tip you can give the guys who are fighting at a lower level or just
starting their careers to be successful as a mixed martial artist?”

Here’s his response:

Claude said one of the most important things to becoming a successful MMA fighter is to get good coaches and good training.

Get people who are invested in your improvement.

Unless you’re a professional strength and conditioning coach, if you’re creating your own workouts or just following some random program, you’re probably missing some key components to being in top fight shape.

Claude contacted me after going 11-1 as an MMA fighter – hardly a guy you’d think needed a strength and conditioning coach.

But he realized that he didn’t know everything he needed to compete at the highest level, so that’s when he picked up the phone.

Even though we might not be able to train together in person, I’ve made my Ultimate MMA Strength and Conditioning program the next best thing.

And as other fighters who have followed my program can tell you, I’m here to answer your questions and help you out as best as I can.

So instead of getting a degree in Kinesiology, spending all of your spare time reading about strength and conditioning and training dozens of fighters in person to test your theories, you can get what works and what’s been proven on the world’s biggest stage.

If you’ve been reading my blog and newsletters, you know that I know what I’m talking about.

But if you haven’t yet gotten the program, I’m wondering what’s stopping you?

Sure, it’s $57 for the package and it might be a lot of money to you.

But it’s an investment and it shows how serious you are about being the best fighter you can be.

I’m proud of what I’ve put together and I want to get it into your hands because I know it gets results. I just got this email from Garry on Sunday:

“Eric,

Been very happy with the results of your program.  I am currently scheduled to fight in early August so have
stopped the power phase and moved back to Base cond. phase and starting the 8 week fight schedule.

What I like the best about your program is that it takes all the fluff out of workouts and gives you only
what you need.

At 40, I don’t seem to recover as fast and so only 2 to 3 workouts a week is working great.  I have to admit, at
first, I mentally didn’t think it was enough workouts but my body has told me different.

Your workout has also allowed me to do more MMA classes and workouts without being too tired.
Overall, I do feel like a better fighter because of it.

My friends are Cross fit freaks and I match them in strength and stamina, and they are a lot younger.

                                                                    Thanks,

                                                                     Garry”

So you know my stuff works, but if you’re still on the fence, here’s what I’m going to do…

To sweeten the deal – I’m giving you 2 of the NRG system complexes that I put Claude through leading up to UFC 115, FREE!

These conditioning workouts will ensure you have the power-endurance to last the distance while still being able to knock your opponent out.

That’s on top of the full package that includes everything you need to get in the best shape of your life:

  • 8, 12, and 16 week fight prep and general training programs - includes mobility and cardio routines, strength training, power training, core, medicine ball work and more
  • Nutrition-itsu – my system of eating for optimal health, performance, and leanness
  • 7-day Quickstart Guide to Nutrition-itsu – 7 days of meal plans following the Nutrition-itsu System
  • Videos and pics of every exercise and routine
  • No-Sweat Weight Cutting Guide – cut 10, 15, or up to 20 lbs the week before your fight instead of sweating in the sauna and draining your energy
  • Ultimate Fight Prep Warmup – optimal warmup routine for a fight

Plus, I know you may be skeptical about the program and you may think it won’t work for you.

Well I promise you that it DOES work and you WILL get amazing results.

But promises on the internet are often empty, so I’m putting my money where my mouth is.

Get the program today.

Put it to work for you for 60 days.

If you’re not 100% satisfied with the results, email me and I’ll give you ALL of your money-back. No questions-asked, no hassles.
