Twice a week - other 2 days would be best to hit the weights... If you don't have a program... I've got one! :)

Are the advanced body-weight circuits meant to be done every other day? If so, what do I do during the off days - work light, rest completely, other?
Please let me know.

Thanks Eric. I really appreciate your advice. I haven't used your program yet. I just kind of found while I was on youtube a while back. And I've use several of your workouts routines. But, soon as I recover from my surgery I am definately going to go through your entire program.

Once again, I am so greatful for your advice.

Thanks Coach!

Hey Eric, I am 13 years old and I am in pretty good shape, with a big bone structure and what not. I want to join mma, and have been trying to find ways to train for it. I take brazlian jui justu (3x a week) and a class once a week that combines tae kwon do and han man do. I dont' really have any access to a gym, but I have some work out equipment like a weight press, resistance bands, and dumbells. Is there any advice you can give me?

For a torn meniscus, you need to do the following exercises:

- Stiff-leg deadlifts
- Squats
- Some lunge variation
- Leg curls on the ball

Never train in bad form, never go to failure, keep your reps in the 8-12 zone. In fact, stop well short of failure, but do multiple sets (3-5).

Do each exercise 2x/week and that should give you a good base of strength to recover from.

Avoid jumping and explosive type stuff right now. Focus on building strength, not power.
