Foam rolling is a cool technique that is like giving yourself a massage. It can get out some trigger points that lead to muscular imbalances, pain, and worst-of-all: injury.

Holy shit! I’ve been doing this kind of thing for years with tennis balls, rocks sticks, furniture, and all sorts of surface. I thought it was just something weird that I did, I had no idea this was a common approach to workout recovery. I called it “bodyweight massage”…
